Lindsey has had alopecia areata since the age of two. She has served as a National Alopecia Areata Foundation support group leader since 2017 and co-founded the Alopecia Justice League alongside Dr. Kristen Lo Sicco, Alison Lee and Julie Yoo in 2021. She has served as a panelist at both the 2023 and 2026 NAAF conferences.
